I don’t think I’ve ever teared up more while editing a wedding film than I did with this one. The pure, raw emotion that Olivia and Will have for each other is something that is so hard to find, and so worth fighting for—but it didn’t start out that way. In the beginning, Olivia would only see him as a friend. She prides herself on being very independent and could not allow herself to catch feelings for someone that she knew she would never want to let go of. Will continued to pursue her, without any knowledge of whether he had a chance, but he also knew he just couldn’t let this incredible girl slip away. And alas, here we are— their wedding film. Love is cool.

High School Sweethearts
This one. Guys, this is the one. Ashley and Daniel started dating when Ashley was only 14 years old and Daniel was 15. They experienced high school, prom, college, and every single life event together since they were just children. It’s such a beautiful thing to me when two people, even at such a young age, can choose each other over. They never wavered and knew from the beginning that their love was always worth pursuing day after day. This is one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the opportunity of serving and their film is guaranteed to bring lots of tears and warmth.

You Make Life Easy | |
Laney and Morgan are some of the most authentic people that I have ever had the joy of filming. I’ve known Laney for a long time now, funny enough I actually filmed a Bachelor Audition for her back in 2019. We joked around a lot pre-wedding saying that it’s definitely a good thing she didn’t get on the show, you know, for obvious reasons. They actually met in high school when she was dating one of his friends, and years later they matched on Bumble. What followed was Morgan’s consistent pursuit to win Laney’s heart by messaging her, inviting her out, and taking things very slow until she slowly fell for him. In the end, they became each other’s best friends to the point that they knew this was something they never wanted to give up. And here on their wedding day, they show just that.

Groom Wrote 100 Letters to His Bride
Grab some tissues. This wedding moved me to my core. Our first wedding of 2020, and Sarah and Noah are some of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure of serving. I was in complete awe for this whole day by their simple mannerisms. They focused on taking the intentional time to be present in each moment and stayed faithful in keeping the presence of the Lord throughout the day. The way they speak about each other with such purity and complete awe for one another is so tender. Noah wrote a letter to Sarah for 100 days before the wedding, and even put a verse from Song of Solomon in each letter to write the whole book for her. The details, the florals, the venue, and even the grooms house where they got ready (and had the SWEETEST portraits) were all perfect for this gorgeous wedding day. Watch this film as they write and say the most beautiful sentiments to each other, stay intentional to being present with one another, and party like there’s no tomorrow!

Orange Beach Wedding Video

I had the pleasure of serving this couple down in Orange Beach, Alabama. I was so excited to be able to film my first beach wedding and let me tell you guys, this wedding was nothing less but BEAUTIFUL. Hands down, I was in awe for the whole day. They came together at UA their freshman year of college during a retreat in Destin. It was on the first date that they both realized that things just felt right. They felt so comfortable with each other and there was no other way to explain it, and the rest is history. Their love for each other and the Lord was inspiring to watch unfold. I genuinely enjoyed getting to know them and their story. I strive to make sure each video that I edit moves me in some way, and they made that SO easy for me. The ocean tides make for a bold symbol of power and freedom. I believe both of these attributes describe their love in an incredible way. It was an honor to be able to tell this story. Check it out!

Third Time’s the Charm | |
I think Josh said it best when quoting Tom Haverford on Parks and Rec, “The four best words in the English language: you wore me down”. Josh and Andrea met when they were helping at Freshman move-in at the University of Alabama in 2017. They talked for a month and a half until he worked up the nerve to ask her out, to which Andrea gave him a “no for now”. He got another no soon after that as well. Josh continued to pursue her heart all while they both continued following the will of the Lord and spreading His gospel through Freshman and International Ministry. Which led them here on this day after on the third time he finally got that long awaited “yes”. The biggest themes Andrea and Josh focused on in their ceremony were serving the Lord, serving others, and preaching the gospel through word and deed to all those that they encounter. They were the sweetest couple, who also know how to break it DOWN on a dance floor.

Let me just tell you guys… this wedding was a PARTY the whole day! Up until the first look and the ceremony, which were nothing but solemnity and tears. What an honor it was to be able to film for a second time at the stunning North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa! Thomas and Anne were such a fun couple, and I can’t express enough gratitude at how honored I am to have been able to film one of the most exciting days of their lives. Check out their Film!

Groom Surprises Bride by Washing Her Feet

Hey guys, it’s been a while. Weddings are (basically) back in full swing and I’m so excited to share this first one back with you! This was a perfect day with Maysie and Hunter as they got married right in front of a beautiful overlook in Huntsville. As we were getting set up for the garter toss, Hunter bought out a towel as a well as a tub of water and starts playing a voiceover. Maysie had no idea he was going to wash her feet as a symbolic way to show how he will strive to serve her as her husband. Check it out!

“I love you to the moon…”

The sweetest couple. Jacob and Sarah met at San Antonio Grill (a staple if you know it) for a Birthday party for Jacob’s sister, Laura, and she had been telling him all about this girl that she works with. After their friends basically wrote down and exchanged their numbers for them, Jacob reached out to her about a week later. They went on their first two dates that weekend in 2016, and the rest is history. These two said the sweetest sentiments about each other, and it was an honor to tell their story! Check it out!!

So much fun getting to work with these two! The Lord brought them together through McKinly's best man around four years ago and they've been together ever since. They were married in Tuscaloosa which just so happens to be where I go to school, so needless to say I was excited to finally be able to film there. My favorite part of this day had to have been the fantastic portrait session spent behind Cypress Inn with the greenery, the gorgeous lake, and of course the sweet bride and groom. Check it out!

Beautiful Christ Centered Wedding at Still Waters

This wedding was so special for everyone involved. They actually planned on getting married on March 21st, but unfortunately had to push it back three whole months due to Covid. Kayla’s father, Mr. Mike Simpson (who also built that gorgeous arbor seen in the video), was actually my football coach when I was in elementary school, and I still remember many of the values he taught our team during that time. Tyler and Kayla wanted their ceremony and wedding day to be centered around Christ and his unending love for us. They were also very intentionally focused on the aspect of Family, and everyone seemed to chip in (without hesitation) to make sure they had the best day ever. After three long months of pushing everything back and replanning everything, watch as they are finally able to come together as the Rollins!

This wedding happened right in the sweet spot of time when we could have 25 people together, so it was 24 + me. They had to forego a big reception so I decided to come to the rehearsal to get some more footage and I am SO glad I did as I was able to get some of the best speeches and portraits. Their story begins when they met in college and were together for a couple of years and Brian decides it was best to part ways when he thought they were headed down separate paths. He was wrong, and states that it was the worst decision he’d ever made. Also, something about a camel? Check out their super fun wedding film!

One phrase that’s stuck with me from this day comes from Trace, speaking to his Bride: “I’m gonna spend the rest of my life trying to prove how much I love you, and I always will love you”. So much fun getting to film this gorgeous wedding in Woodstock. We actually made a last second decision to drive over and spent a lot of our portrait time at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. It was about 40 minutes away, but I knew the shots we would get there would be nothing less but breathtaking, so I was pretty pumped to say the least. It was pouring down rain for much of the day which made the greenhouse an even more perfect scene for our first look. Thankfully the rain subsided by the ceremony time and everything turned out better than anyone had planned. Korri and Trace were so much fun to work with, and they definitely made this video what it is. Check it out!

They began dating their sophomore year of high school, went to college together, and have been inseparable ever since. This wedding was so special as they absolutely poured their hearts out to each other through every activity of the day, even before they’d even seen each other. I loved that after all this time Nick can still make her laugh and blush so diligently. It’s almost as if you can hear the butterflies fluttering, especially during that BEAUTIFUL first look. Nick and Taylor were so much fun to work with at the heart of the city of Birmingham. Watch as they laugh together, say the sweetest sentiments about each other, and dance like no one’s watching!

SUCH a fun wedding!! Kate grew up adoring anything to do with horses, which made the beautiful Windwood Equestrian perfect for her wedding day. Her and Tyler were so much fun to work with all the way up from the planning, to the wedding day, and even talking to them while in the editing room. I was very happy to be able to serve them on their big day that turned out more beautiful than any of us could've imagined. Check it out!

Lauren and Austin. Such a pure hearted couple. This was one of the most fun weddings I’ve had the opportunity of filming! I met Lauren back in August of 2018. She was actually one of the first people I was able to meet when I moved up to Tuscaloosa. The first thing I noticed about her and Austin was the heart they had for the Lord. They continually pursue Him and place the Lord before each other. They understood that when the Lord is in front, he will ALWAYS prevail. This day was an absolute cry fest for everyone involved, except for me of course. Ok, maybe I cried a little. Either way watch as they laugh, cry, and dance the night away!

What can I say about these two? They are some of the sweetest, servant hearted people I have ever had the pleasure of filming. When I asked them how they came together, they told me that they both had surrendered their singleness to God and decided to follow the Will of the Lord who clearly led them together in the most perfect way. I am consistently dumbfounded with the way God brings two people together in such magnificent ways. Their relationship is a beautiful testament! It is so pure to be able to witness men cry and fall to their knees by the beauty they see in their new bride. Watch as everyone cries willfully, prays faithfully, and celebrates the newly married POOLE'S!!!

Christian and Kylie have been together since the ninth grade. The phrase “High School Sweetheart” had never meant as much to them as it did on this day. The Lord works in mysterious ways, and that especially doesn’t exclude the person he calls us to be with. Even though they went to different colleges and have only seen each other FIVE times since they’ve been married because of work, they still feel led to each other every single day, just as they did the day they were brought together. Watch as Kylie can’t stop crying while simply speaking of her almost-husband, and how Christian cries when he see her for the first time. Love is a beautiful thing, and I believe it’s one of the greatest notions the Lord could have blessed us with.

Some days can be stressful for us wedding vendors. Having to be in multiple places at once and accommodating to the multiple changes a wedding day can hold, sometimes we feel a little bit over our heads. This is why we absolutely LOVE couples who have such down to earth, go-with-the-flow personalities. This day was super laid back, and if there was a problem they didn’t even sweat it. They knew that at the end of the day they would be married and that’s all that truly mattered. ou can tell Jacob and Hannah have been together for 10 years just by the way they speak of each other and laugh together. It’s not a long time in the grand scheme of things, but it really gets you excited to see where their journey will take them from here.

This wedding day was nothing short of beautiful. From the gorgeous field to all of the servant hearted people I met on this day, it all allowed the ceremony to come together perfectly as you can see in the video. Casey and Scott had only been dating for 10 days when Scott’s mom invited them on a trip to Disney planned for a year later, where they eventually became engaged. They were such an amazing couple and were perfectly fine doing all of the crazy poses and interview questions I was asking of them. Scott’s daughter, Brooklyn, actually wanted to sit down and talk about her dad and her new step mom and said the sweetest things about them. Watch as these two are joined together by Scott’s mother in one of the prettiest ceremonies I’ve had the joy of being apart of!

This is a story about a girl and her dog. Well, sort of. They went to high school together and Will, not having any mutual friends with her, had a huge crush on a girl that he never imagined he’d have the chance to be with. In my questionnaire I always ask my couples how they came together. In her answer Emily simply wrote “highschool, but really connected in Auburn at a dog park”. Of course I knew there had to be more this, which is exactly what made this video so much fun to create for them. I mean, besides the awesome party that came after the ceremony. Watch as they talk about each other with so much joy, laugh with each other in innocence, and dance the night away!

When Charlye and Lane talk about what they're excited for in the future, it all seems to come down to one overarching theme: becoming one big happy family. The love these two have for each other is insurmountable, and the love they have for the people who care for them is something that is so clear, and so sweet. Becoming one means accepting that everything in that persons life is yours, including the ones that love them. Family is taking all of ones burdens and making it theirs, not because they feel like they have to but because they want to. Charley and Lane are a family now, and they can't wait to see what the adventure holds! Watch as they talk about each other so lovingly, dance like nobody's there, and most importantly get MARRIED!

As most people who have worked a wedding (or been to one) may know, weddings don’t always always go as planned. Sometimes the weather won’t work with us, sometimes we get a little behind schedule. We usually just work with what we have, and the Lord blessed us big time this day with the perfect lighting, a beautiful sunset, and little to no stress. This day simply could not have gone any better. Mason and Kelsey have truly been through thick and thin, and it’s all led to this beautiful, perfect wedding day. I don’t think you could ask for much more!

The first wedding of the spring. New beginnings.

Reagen and Brent. What a beautiful thing it is to watch two people come together who compliment each other in every single way. The way they hold each other, look at each other, and just laugh with each other with so much comfort—seeming to say “I trust you with my all.”

New beginnings. It’s a wonderful testament to watch unfold.
